RSPB Garden Birdwatch 29-31 January 2021

The annual RSPB Birdwatch is happening between 29th - 31st January 2021. To take part you can find everything online on the RSPB website or you can request for an activity pack to be sent to your home. As lots of us are spending more time at home at the moment this is a lovely nature activity to do with the kids. All you need to do is an enjoy 1 hour of nature counting the different birds that you see in your garden. It can help if you put some food out for the birds because in the winter months food is not easily available. You could combine the birdwatch with making your own birdhouse. You can find plenty of ideas on You Tube and Pinterest. Submit your results online and help the RSPB get an idea if birds in the UK are doing well or where there may be concern. It’s fun to see what bird may visit. What will appear in your garden?

Don’t forget to use #BigGardenBirdwatch on social media.
